I'm a fan of rereading books (same way as I can rewatch a film several times) and I'm currently in the middle of four books, three of which are 'repeats'
The Death And Life Of Superman - an excellent comic-book novelisation. Anyone that knows me will know my current infatuation for the Man of Steel. This is a repeat, I recently bought another copy after losing my original which I bought when it was published in the UK in the mid 90s.
Spider-Man: Revenge of the Sinister Six - Yes, I am following a theme, and it is another excellent comic-book novel, though not a novelisation. It's book 2 of 3. I got the last two cheap, so will be rereading the third (Seceret of the Sinister Six) when I'm done.
The Green Mile - Excellent Stephen King serial novel - one of the few where the movie version can be said to be just as good as the original book.
The Running Man - The first-timer, Renee found it cheap in a book with Stephen King's other early Richard Bachman books at our local antique shop, of all places. A LOT better than the movie version, grittier, darker, bleaker, more depressing. It shows some of Stephen King's early rawness, but it's riveting all the same.

Green Mile is an excellent book... as for Running Man - that would have made a better film... he's lean and not a 'beefcake', and there's issues re- illness - and all the public ready to bay for blood - far scarier, far better. N.

I agree totally - though that world sometimes doesn't seem that far away - espeically when (in the UK for example) you see the hoodie brigades out in force.
