Obvious - they need to be MADE! It's all well and good having them on the screen, but you can't play them properly can you. Ideally, get them printed onto card rather than paper - you can get card quite cheaply from a good stationary shop. Next step to make them more durable is to have them laminated and then get them cut down properly. Might sould obvious all this, but well worth doing - I have three of my own packs done in this way so far and the results are excellent - and there's NOTHING to compare with actually playing a game you've made yourself for the very first time - especially when yer wife keeps winning! Playing my lego replicas for the first time...
There simply my fav pack. And that's not 'cos it's mine, well partly. As it's to my spec. Like a pack i want. I haven't lamionated them nor do i have back. This due to when i printed the, there wasn't one. Which was a good thing as the first pack i printed was 2 pieces of card stuck together, which kept falling apart, and shuffling was a nightmare. The cards were stuck in each other.
Lego Replicas were made for one of my holidays, and the week before, i was busy on the computer making them.
If you don't have a good printer that aligns perfect. The get 1/use one that is, or print front card on card and back cards on paper. And stick them together. That's so it's not so thick.
Now laminating them is the best idea. I haven't, i wanted them to, but there wan't enough to do my whole pack.
Laminating them gets rid of a few troubles and makes it look better in general.

I'm lucky to know someone who laminated mine for me - I just bunged him the cost of the 'laminates' which are cheap. Plus a laminator is inexpensive - you could prob. get one for less than £20 - I may well invest at some point if I make loads more. They do make the cards easier to shuffle too I have to say. N.
