Here's how I do mine: First you decide on what you're going to have and then how many out of how many they score. Confusing? Here... I'll go on... Each of the first 5 statistics on the card shown are out of ten - as you can see, J.R. gets top marks for being 'Cunning'. So that's that bit done... so how do I come up with a "Boo Rating"? I do this for all my games to give an 'overall' rating - now this is pretty easy! The first five stats are out of a max. of 10 each... that's 10 X 5 = 50. Now, I ADD each score and DIVIDE the result by 50... in this case: 7+6+9+10+4=36. 36/50=0.72 And to get a % simply multiply that by 100 0.72X100 = 72 I do that for all my cards... easy when you know how! ;D N.

If you're having trouble deciding the stats, then put the cards names down. and look up and down the cards and give them numbers, eg. Strength, write down the highest number (or around that) next to the strongest. and go down from there.
On my cards, i tend to make the stats with a different max. It adds a "which is the best" to the game.

Good idea lol, it would have saved me getting the calculator out! ;D
Of course, it's just a case of picking your stats based on your own opinion... some folk have argued with me over mine lol, saying "I don't agree with that" - tough! ;D At the end of the day it is only a game after all eh?
;D

Yeah, my first 4 packs (designed not created) were all factual. 1st. Final Fantasy VII and VIII, 4/5 (weapon stat) fact stats. Pokemon pack (used to be on the market) was, but i plan to add a couple of stats and get pictures from the cartoon. Tekken and King of Iron Fist was planned first but i couldn't find the stats till much later. The Crash packs were fun, all stats from myt head. I also gave 3 cards a Brains of 0, this as they were brainwashed. S'all fun.

It is indeed... and that's the best bit!
I also got moaned about with my 'Top Frighteners' set:
"Here... how could you leave out the 'Friday The Thirteenth' films?" was one comment I got from a few...
Good grief(!) I've only got 30 choices (32 if you count the 'specials' cards) - I can't do every flaming fillum!
;D

I don't care much about card limits. I nearly every character featured from Twisted Metal games (except a few bosses (lac of stats)) For the Crash Packs, i just had to pick the most important 30. With the 'Top Frighteners' though, how do you decide the importance

Hmm... was a tough one - I just did it 'randomly' though... there are LOADS more I would've had... plus some if my stats, I don't agree with now!
Ah well!

When I create mine I chose a subject research it and then take it from there. I already have a template for the card base and then throw some graphics onto it and slowly build it up from there. When it comes to the stats etc well these are cross referenced from as many sources as possible to get the most similar figure and then as long as I have 5/6 sets of 30 stats then that is it. Then I do the playing card designs, add the stats and finished!

On my first pack (Final Fantasy VII and VIII (in 2005)) i had a guide to FF7, that got me started. The age and height were featured in the manuels, and a few weeks of searching and i cam up with the 4/5 stats.
Couldn't do FF9, the only stat after ages searching was age (in the manuel)
And it's a real shame, 'cos the pictures i found were great.
Just remembered. Twisted Metal pack was all fact. from Twisted Metal Black and Head-on, the first 4 main stats were out of 10, whereas all the other games (4) were up to 5, so ia had to change most.
BUT, there was 1 card only on Tisted Metal, 1 card only on twisted metal 2, and the 2 american games (3 and 4) were a bit more difficult, so i doubled and added kep the same or minused 1 randomly.
